These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of CDCalculator.io ("the Site"). By using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Acceptance of Terms

CDCalculator provides free online financial calculators and educational articles. Your use of any calculator, chart, schedule, or blog post constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer.

Permitted Use

You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree to:

  • Use calculators and content only for lawful purposes.
  • Not attempt to disrupt, hack, or overload the Site or its servers.
  • Not scrape, copy, or redistribute large portions of the Site without written permission.
  • Not misrepresent calculator results as official bank, tax, or legal advice.

Intellectual Property

All content on CDCalculator, including text, design, logos, and calculator logic, is owned by CDCalculator or its licensors. You may link to our pages and share calculator results for personal use, but you may not republish our content as your own product.

No Warranties

The Site and all content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that calculators are error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose. See our Disclaimer for more detail.

Limitation of Liability

CDCalculator shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the Site, including reliance on calculator outputs or articles. You use the Site at your own risk.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use at any time. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Calculator results are not offers

A Calculate button runs math in your browser. It is not an application, pre-approval, or rate lock. You may not present CDCalculator output as a bank quote, IRS computation, or Social Security award. If you republish a screenshot, you must keep the educational context visible.

Accounts and eligibility

The Site does not create user accounts. There is nothing to "upgrade." Automated scraping that degrades service for other visitors is prohibited. Linking to individual calculator URLs is allowed; framing the Site in a way that hides our branding or disclaimer is not.

Acceptable use of results

You may print a scenario for a spouse, advisor, or loan officer. You may not strip the CDCalculator name and present the sheet as your bank's official illustration. You may not use the Site to generate bulk spam, phishing pages, or fake pre-approval letters. Educational reuse with attribution and a link to the canonical URL is allowed.

If we reasonably believe an automated process is harming availability, we may rate-limit or block that traffic. That is an operations decision, not a comment on your finances.

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of cdcalculator.io, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would point elsewhere. If a court finds one clause unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Continued use after we change the "Last updated" date is acceptance of the new terms.

License to use the Site

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to load pages and run calculators for personal educational use. We do not grant a license to resell access, to wrap our tools in another product, or to train a commercial model by bulk-downloading the article corpus without permission. Personal study and linking are fine.

Trademarks in examples (for example FHA, VA, FDIC) belong to their owners. We use them to describe public programs, not to imply sponsorship.

If you are using the Site for classroom instruction, you may project a calculator page and walk through the published example. You may not charge students a separate fee for access to our files or claim the formulas as your original research. Attribution with a link to the canonical URL is required for copied excerpts longer than a short quotation.

We may refuse service to traffic that attempts to inject scripts, harvest emails, or overload the host. That refusal is not a comment on any financial product. The Site may be unavailable during hosting maintenance; we do not guarantee uptime percentages in these terms.

Exporting a CSV or printing a schedule is allowed for your records. Automating thousands of requests to generate a competing dataset is not. If you need a bulk license, ask via the contact page; silence means the personal-use license still applies.

Advertising on the Site

Labeled advertisements may appear below educational content. An ad is not a calculator result, a rate quote, or an endorsement. Clicking Calculate never submits an application to an advertiser. You may use an ad blocker; we will not hide results behind a request to disable it. If AdSense or a similar partner is active, their cookies are described in the Privacy Policy.

No user accounts or user content

The Site does not host comments, reviews, or uploaded documents. There is no community feed to moderate. If we later add a comment form, we will describe moderation rules here before enabling it. Until then, the only user-submitted text we receive is email via Contact.

Termination and availability

We may take a page offline for maintenance or to fix a formula. We are not required to keep a historical copy of every example. If a tool is removed, the URL may redirect to a related calculator or to home. Continued use after a change to the "Last updated" date is acceptance of the revised terms.
