Information We Collect
Calculator usage
Our financial calculators run entirely in your web browser. The numbers you enter (deposits, rates, loan amounts, etc.) are not transmitted to our servers and are not stored by us.
Server logs
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record standard log data when you visit pages: IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps. We use this data only for security, troubleshooting, and aggregate traffic analysis.
Contact form
If you submit our contact form, we receive your name, email address, and message content so we can respond to your inquiry.
How We Use Information

Contact form messages are retained only as long as needed to resolve your request. Server logs are retained according to our hosting provider's standard rotation schedule.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you submitted via the contact form by emailing hello@cdcalculator.io. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Children's Privacy
CDCalculator is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
Calculator inputs and advertising
Numbers you type into calculators never leave your device. We do not use calculator inputs to profile you for ads. If Google AdSense or a similar partner is enabled, those partners may set cookies on page views according to their policies. You can opt out of personalized ads in Google Ads Settings. Ads, when shown, are labeled "Advertisement" and are placed below educational content, not inside calculator results.
We do not sell personal information. We do not run contests that require unnecessary personal data. Server logs are used for security and reliability, not to reconstruct your CD or mortgage scenarios.
Do Not Track and analytics
Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal. Our static hosting stack may not interpret that signal. You can block third-party cookies in your browser if you prefer not to see personalized ads. Privacy-friendly aggregate analytics, if used, count visits without attaching calculator inputs to an identity.
International visitors
CDCalculator is operated for a general audience and hosted in the United States. If you contact us from another country, your message is processed in the U.S. so we can reply. Do not send government ID numbers, full account numbers, or health information through the contact form.
Data we never collect through calculators
Calculator fields are not a KYC form. We do not ask for date of birth, Social Security number, routing numbers, or employer identification in the tools. If a future feature stored a scenario, we would describe it here before enabling it. Today, closing the tab clears the numbers unless your browser keeps form autofill locally under your control.
Contact emails are read by people handling support, not used to build a marketing list. We do not sell those addresses. After a bug is resolved we keep the thread only as long as needed to confirm the fix, then delete it from the mailbox on a normal retention cycle.
If advertising partners are active, their cookies are governed by their own policies linked from the ad unit or from Google Ads Settings. We do not combine those cookies with calculator field values because those values never reach our servers.
California and similar state privacy laws: we do not sell personal information as that term is commonly defined for advertising lists, because we do not operate a user database of calculator sessions. Contact-form data is used to reply to you. You may request deletion of that email thread at hello@cdcalculator.io.
